# Abuja Life

> Abuja Life (abjlife.app) is a free multiplayer 3D life simulation game set in the real Abuja, Nigeria. People often call it the Abuja Sims game, an Abuja simulation game, or the Abuja version of the Lagos sims games such as Lagos Life. It runs in any web browser on Android, iPhone and computers, with no download. It is developed by Nandatech (https://nandatech.com.ng).

## What players do
- Create a resident (Nigerian outfits and hairstyles: agbada, gele, hijab, corper uniform, Ankara, Adire, Aso-oke) and claim an @username.
- Arrive at the Abuja City Gate and explore a city built from the real map: roads, buildings and landmarks modelled from photos. Day and night follow Abuja time.
- Play with real people: chat by area, private messages, crews, house visits, sending money, giving lifts.
- Work 2-minute shifts at businesses owned by other players or at the FCT Civil Service.
- Own a business: buy a real Abuja place or create a new one on a Central Business District plot; set prices, hire players, pay tax.
- Rent a home in Nyanya, Kubwa, Gwarinpa or Maitama, then build it up and furnish it.
- Get around by green-and-white taxi, along (shared cab), keke napep, bus or your own car.
- Stay fed (suya, shawarma, IbroFish and more), party at Club Zuma, visit the hospital when sick or injured.
- Police stop-and-search; arrests mean a few minutes in a cell or paying bail (bail goes to the government treasury).

## Player-run government
- Weekly elections for each district's Senator and the FCT Minister; players vote.
- The CBN treasury is filled by tax on every sale; the Minister sets the tax, funds the civil service and pays for good deeds. All government money is shown in public accounts.
- The EFCC audits officials: embezzlers are jailed without bail and must repay what they took plus a fine.
