Abuja Life

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

Abuja Life ("we", "us") is a browser-based life-simulation game set in Abuja, available at abjlife.app. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We don't collect your phone number, location, contacts or payment card details. If paid features are added later, payments will be handled by a licensed payment provider and we will update this policy before they launch.

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

What other players can see

Your @username and your character's appearance are meant to be seen by other players once the game opens. Your email address is never shown to other players.

Where your data is stored

We use Google Firebase (a Google Cloud service) for sign-in and data storage. Game data is stored in Google's London (europe-west2) data centre. The website is hosted by Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account or waitlist signup is active. If you ask us to delete it, we will remove it within 30 days, except where we must keep something by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to remove you from the waitlist, by emailing us at the address below. If you are in Nigeria, you have rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, including the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Children

Abuja Life is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make important changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know by email.
